| Day 1 | Calgary to Banff (Coach) | | | Leave the Stampede City of Calgary on the express service to Banff where
you will have ample opportunity to take in the sights. | | Day 2 | Morning Sightseeing Tour of Banff | | | This morning, tour through the town of Banff and its environs, among
the highlights are visits to the hoodoos (shaped by centuries of wind),
Surprise Corner, Sulphur Mountain (gondola ride included), and Tunnel
Mountain Drive -which overlooks the splendour of Bow Valley and the
Cave and Basin where Banff’s history began. Enjoy the afternoon on your
own to explore this charming resort. | | Day 3 | Banff to Jasper with Snocoach Ride (Coach) | | | Travel by coach today via one of the most scenic highways in North America
- the Icefield Parkway. Visit the Columbia Icefield that covers an area
of nearly 325 sq km’s and reaches a depth of 320 metres. Time allows for
a (included) snocoach ride on the Athabasca Glacier. Along the way stops
will be made at Lake Louise, Bow & Peyto Lakes, the Crowfoot Glacier
and the Athabasca Falls. This highway is renowned for sightings of bear,
elk, moose & mountain sheep, so keep your camera handy. Please note:
mountain lakes in this region will be frozen through to mid June. | | Day 4 | Evening Wildlife Tour Jasper (Coach) | | | Today is at your leisure to enjoy the spectacular wonders of Jasper. This
evening experience the Jasper Wonderland for some amazing close-up
photo opportunities of wildlife. Destinations can include the Maligne Valley
and the Pyramid Bench (with its beaver ponds). | | Day 5 | Jasper to Prince George (Rail) | | | Today, embark on a memorable rail journey across British Columbia’s Cariboo
Region to the waters of the Pacific O cean. Pass the cloud-veiled peak
of Mount Robson and watch the horizons widen as the train descends
from the Rockies onto the rugged interior plateau. The northern arm of
the Fraser River leads to Prince George. (Lunch and dinner is included
today). | | Day 6 | Prince George to Prince Rupert (Rail) | | | Continuing west, enjoy the rugged beauty and pioneering character of
a landscape once solely travelled by First Nation people and fur traders.
The train follows the turbulent currents of the Skeena River and meanders
through spectacular canyons and open valleys in the presence of
ever present mountain ridges. (Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner
is included today). | | Day 7 | Prince Rupert to Port Hardy (Ferry) | | | Welcome to the glorious Inside Passage, a paradise for photographers
and wildlife enthusiasts. Sail to Vancouver Island through a maze of enchanting
islands, relishing the ever-changing vistas of deep fjords, densely
forested shorelines, massive ice-flows and jagged inlets. Watch bald
eagles soaring overhead, sea lions slumbering on the rocks and whales
traversing the offshore waters. | | Day 8 | Port Hardy to Victoria (Coach) | | | Today, travel the Island Highway through the forest clad mountains of
the interior and along a spectacular coastline dotted with charming fishing
villages. Enjoy sweeping views of the shoreline and the distant Coast
Mountains. | | Day 9 | Victoria to Vancouver with Butchart Gardens | | | Depart Victoria for a tour along scenic Marine Drive passing Beacon Hill
Park, O ak Bay Residential district, Uplands and the University of Victoria.
The tour will them stop at the Butchart Gardens with it’s 50 acre display
of magnificent colour for 2 hours. Then continue on to Swartz Bay Ferry
Terminal where the coach boards the 1.00pm ferry to Tsawwassen. O n
board BC ferries you have time for lunch and to enjoy the scenery of the
Gulf Islands. From Tsawwassen, continue on to downtown Vancouver to
be dropped –off at your hotel or Vancouver airport. | |

Arriving on Vancouver Island, tour to Butchart Gardens (Admission included). A two hour stop allows time to enjoy these magnificent gardens. Tour scenic Ocean Drive, uplands, Oak Bay, University of Victoria as well as the Victoria City Tour before being taken to your hotel. | | Day 2 | Victoria to Port Hardy (Coach) | | | This morning board your coach departure for Port Hardy. Winding northward over the Malahat highway, your route offers panoramic views of the Gulf Islands and the Strait of Georgia. Pass through vast expanses of farmland, fishing villages, deep-sea ports and lumber and logging communities. Arrive Port Hardy late afternoon. | | Day 3 | Port Hardy to Prince Rupert (Ferry) | | | Embark on a full day of cruising the sheltered waters of Canada's Inside Passage. During the length of the 15-hour crossing, a wonderful array of snow capped mountains combine with rich forests provides a background for a series of dramatic fjords. Killer Whales, sea lions and playful porpoise often appear in these waters. Arrive in the seaport of Prince Rupert late evening. | | Day 4 | Prince Rupert to Prince George (Rail) | | | Another day of dramatic scenery, this morning board VIA Rails Skeena service for an eye-catching feast of mountains, meadows and rivers as you travel parallel to the salmon rich Skeena River. the environs of Jasper and for some amazing close-up photo opportunities
of wildlife. Destinations can include the Maligne Valley, the
Pyramid Bench (with its beaver ponds) and many other unique wildlife
or natural splendors. During the winter months descend to the frozen
canyon floor where guides take you down beneath the frozen surface of
the Maligne River - don’t worry, the water levels have dropped with the
freeze, leaving a magical world of ice formations and shelves. | | Day 7 | Jasper to Banff (Coach) | | | Travel by coach today via one of the most scenic highways in North America - the Icefields Parkway.
